I thought her hat reminded me of Laura Ingle (half pint). She was cutting strawberries.

I'm next in line for a strawberry shortcake sundae.

It was sooooo goooood! Short cake, vanilla bean ice cream, strawberry's of course and chocolate syrup. Alex took the picture and asked, "can we go yet?

The machines was making tiny hay bales. Never know what you might see at a Strawberry Festival in Unicoi, Tennessee.

Looks like large hay bales but no bigger than your wallet. See picture above.

Easter 2012

THE LEMERY'S CELEBRATE EASTER!

I woke up this morning to catch sunrise service. I made Bacon Quiche and biscuits with rasberry preserves (grown and canned from my friend Crystal). I gave one quiche to our elderly neighbors up the street. I make extra during the holiday since they don't usually have family in town.  I finally woke up John and Alex. Alex loved his easter basket full of candy and big bag of Funyuns!

It wouldn't be easter without coloring eggs so I did and John helped.

We celebrated easter with our friends Mike and Crystal and their family.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Christmas with the Lemery's

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

We celebrated Christmas with family. The song, "I'll be home for Christmas" meant a lot more as we traveled Christmas Eve to be with family on Christmas day. We hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas and New Year?

Every year before Christmas we visit Bristol Motor Speeway in Lights.

We watched a 3 day Herky girls basketball tournament. Mackenzie is in the middle.

We celebrated mom's "74th" birthday at Olive Garden. What a memorable celebration.
